An aesthete, Georges Troubat created the "Galerie Point Rouge" in Paris's Golden Triangle in the late 80s. This gallery represents great names such as Miotte and Bozzolini.

He was trained in abstraction by these great artists, unapologetically abandoning the oils and figuration of his early days.

His industrial career (as a paint manufacturer) gave him an in-depth knowledge of paint, its quality and its colors, which he applied to his own creations. He made his own colors, enabling him to express his thoughts with precision.

With this technical mastery, the artist deceives the viewer. At certain points in his work, you might think there was collage, paper addition or even transparency. For the viewer's eye, his works are a visual stroll, the eyes caught by the many details hidden in the canvas.

Through his work, Georges Troubat strives for aestheticism, through shapes and colors, but also through composition. There is no hidden meaning to his canvases. "My sole aim is to evoke visual pleasure, serenity and beauty... then emotion takes hold of you; it leads you deep into the canvas, allowing you to construct your own feelings. My canvases are meant to be bright and cheerful".
